Little known ways to lose weight by Summer

I use to be able to eat 2 Friendly’s Reese’s pieces sundae’s in one sitting and not gain an ounce. Boy do I miss those days. Now, if I think about a sundae I gain 10 pounds.

I’ve really had to think of some ways I could lose weight by Summer. I hate going to the gym. I wish I was this awesome gym person who really enjoyed working out everyday but, I’m not!

 I love dancing, singing & positive mantras. I also love making lists. I am such a list maker it’s ridiculous! So I had to find practical ways to help me lose weight & keep it off using the things I love.

Try a few of my practical ways to lose weight by Summer. Try these for the next 30 days and see what awesome results you get. And how much happier you’ll be

  1. Be mindful of what you’re eating. Put down the phone, Ipad, step away from the computer! Just be there and in the moment when you eat. This helps you be aware of what you’re eating and how much. It also helps you enjoy your food and when you feel satisfied you won’t eat as much.

     2. Keep a food diary. You can easily use the notepad in your phone. I also found a great list of food journal apps          you can use.  I recently went on a 21 day cleanse. It was intense! But it really helped me to be mindful and I            realized how often I reach for those chips, bars of chocolate or pasta.

   3.Take a brisk walk. If your consistent when it comes to walking you’ll see the weight come right off. People often  think they need intense exercise to lose weight. That’s not true. Consistency is what really takes the weight off              and keeps it off. So take that walk girlfriend!

   4. Drink your greens! When your craving something sweet instead of reaching for something loaded with              processed sugar, grab a nice sweet smoothie to quench that sweet tooth. Smoothies are extremely low in calories.    5. Dance around the house. Exercise doesn’t have to happen in the gym. Mine doesn’t. Blast your favorite

     tunes and get dancing sista. Dancing got me into my skinny jeans fast after I had my kids. Here are my favorite tracks I like to get down with. You can burn up to 450 calories an hour when you dance. And dancing is also great to lift your spirits. I also do a workout right in my house that’s totally uplifting and inspiring by Erin Stutland.
