Who else wants to eat Cookies for Breakfast?
With all this rainy weather lately it has me craving cookies and hot chocolate. I just want to sit on my couch under a blanket with both of them. But, you know me it has to be a healthy cookie. I’m giving you my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. Their so healthy you can eat them for breakfast. Yea I said it and I mean it!
Actually their so healthy you can even feed them to your kid’s for breakfast and be the coolest Mom on the block.
I’m not kidding when I say you can eat them for breakfast. Their packed full of protein and I use natural sweeteners to sweeten them up just a bit.
This recipe is my families go to recipe at least once a week. They’re healthier than what most people eat for breakfast. Sad to say.
I love raw chocolate chip cookie dough better than I love chocolate chip cookies. Who doesn’t?
You can eat this recipe both ways without worrying. Oh and their vegan and gluten free too!
Here’s my recipe for my favorite healthy cookies. If you haven’t tried them yet make sure you do so this weekend. They take 5 minutes to prep & 10 minutes to cook if, you even want to cook them.
I dream of writing a cookbook called “Deserts so healthy you could eat them for breakfast”. And one day I will but, until then i’ll just share my favorites with you.
You can add anything to them like slivered almonds, chopped walnuts, raisins, craisins. Get creative or keep them simple it’s up to you.
Sometimes I swap the chocolate chips for cacao nibs and my kids don’t know the difference.
Now I challenge you to make these for your family this weekend and don’t tell them what their made out of. See if they notice the difference.
People go crazy when I bake these babies and bring them to over for a dinner party. Then when they taste it and I tell them what’s in it they go nuts! The last dinner party I was invited to I brought a batch of these and a batch of my black bean brownies. They devoured them and then asked if I was sure they’re healthy? They went bananas when I gave them the ingredient list.
