This simple recipe is hearty enough to replace your steak. Great for all you meat lovers to eat on meatless Mondays.

- 1 whole cauliflower stem removed
- Salt & pepper
- 2 table spoons olive oil
- Preheat oven to 350 while oven is heating up remove the green stem from the cauliflower but make sure to keep the cauliflower whole. After the stem is removed cut the cauliflower in half from top to bottom. Heat a frying pan on the stove with oil. When oil is hot add the cauliflower & season with salt & pepper. Let both sides brown & throw it in the oven with the frying pan for 15 minutes. For added flavor brush some BBQ sauce or drizzle some pesto on top.
- This is great to serve with your favorite BBQ sauce or steak sauce. I love it drizzled with roast pepper pesto sauce.
