  1. 5 pounds organic grass fed beef bones
  2. 6 carrots peeled & chopped
  3. 3 onions peeled and chopped
  4. 1 tablespoon peppercorn
  5. 24 cups water or 1 ½ gallons
  6. Handful of parsley stems
  7. 6 cloves garlic
  1. Roast bones on 400 for 40 minutes. Place all ingredients in a large pot and boil. When stock begins to boil turn flame on low and simmer for 12-24 hours on the lowest flame on your stove. Add 2-4 cups of water every 6 hours.
  2. When broth is done strain in a fine mesh strainer into a bowl or container. Next, cool it in your refrigerator and remove any fat that has risen to the top. Broth can be drunk alone or used in soups, stews or sauces. You can also freeze it for several months.
